Description
On offer here is a UK pressing of the album STAR WARS by JOHN WILLIAMS and THE LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA. The Cat. No is BTD 541 on the 20th Century Records label.
UK first pressing, dating from 1977 in Gatefold sleeve, with fold-out poster, insert and shows as translucent purple when held up to strong light.

THE LABELS are in EX+ with just a couple of light spindle marks.
THE VINYL cosmetically grades as EX condition cosmetically. The vinyls are very glossy with hardly a mark just a couple of wispy bag removal lines. HOWEVER RECORD 2 IS DISHED BUT STILL PLAYS FINE ON MY TURNTABLE. I have played both discs through and there were no jumps or sticks and very little background noise to mention, just some static here and there sometimes noticeable in the more quiet parts. Playback grades as EX+. WHEN HELD UP TO LIGHT THE DISCS SHOW AS TRANSLUCENT PURPLE.
THE INNER SLEEVES are the original plain paper inners, in VG+ condition, with NO WRITING or SPLITS, just some creasing and ringwear.
THE 2 SIDED INSERT is present and is in VG condition. There is no writing but there are acouple of small tears along the bottom edge.
THE LARGE FOLD OUT COLOUR POSTER is present and is in EX+ condition. There are NO PIN HOLES, TEARS or SPLITS.
THE COVER is the original glossy gatefold cover This is in VG+ condition, there are NO SPLITS or WRITING, the spine, top and bottom edges are 100%, the text on the spine is fully legible. There is some minor bumping to the corner, light ringwear and some scuffing to the edges.
