Description
Here are four rare and super prime LPs in two separate issues. The first is Shlomo Mintz playing Bach's violin Sonatas and Partiten (BMV 1001-1006) on Digital DG 413-810-1. This is a Promo copy and includes the booklet. This is some spectacular violin solos by Mintz, playing J.S. Bach the way it should be done.
The second LP offers the glorious virtuoso Janos Starker playing (what else?) "Virtuoso Music for Cello" on a Denon PCM LP (Nippon, Japan) OX-7140-ND. This has too many composers to list. Suffice it to say that it is fabulous music.
All four are play graded using an Ortofon X5-MC with an FG-70 line contact stylus, which is extremely demanding. All eight sides of the four LPs are virtually noise free and very high definition. Jackets are ca. excellent. It is impossible to imagine finding these in better condition. On a high end system, they will all sound truly divine!
