Here we have a factory sealed, mint condition new copy of the album There Is No Love In Fluorescent Light by Stars. This 2017 Canadian release is a double album (2 x 12" LPs) and its pressing was limited to only 500 copies on 140g weight bone (beige) colored vinyl. Comes in a double gatefold sleeve with digital download.
Stars is an award winning indie band based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Since forming in 2000, they have released nine albums and a number of EPs. Their music has been nominated for two Juno Awards and two Polaris Music Prizes. Their co-vocalist Amy Millan also performs as a member of the band Broken Social Scene and solo artist. Their music has been described as "beautiful, eloquent indie pop" characterized by lush instrumentation, nimble production and mixing, narrative lyrics and soft but nuanced vocals. Reviewers often cite the band's ability to create both catchy, danceable pop and more poignant, atmospheric tracks.
