Description

Stars of Ghana - Decca WAP 21, mono.
Original English Press
Condition (jacket/vinyl): VG (has a price sticker) / plays everso close to VG+. Labels are VG with some wear and small writing on one side. Jacket has some slight creases and light age stains/ tanning, no splits; VG. The Vinyl has some light surface marks and skuffs, nothing too bad. It Plays incredibly well; Near VG+ with the slightest of background noise.

Rare 1962 release includes the Black Beats Band, Stargazers Dance Band, Onyina's Guitar Band, Broadway Dance Band, Akompi's Guitar Band, African Tones, and E.T. Mensah & His Tempos Band.
The original 'African Music Centre and Things African' sticker is still on the back cover, from the store on 7th Ave. in NYC where the record was originally purchased. A very cool rare Calypso LP.
