Description
Rare, home-recorded acetate record of the State Farm (Insurance) Chorus, singing Swing Low Sweet Chariot and Steal Away. This one of a kind acetate disc is typical of home-recording machines of the 1940s and 1950s, and features a custom, hand-typed label with studio information indicating it was recorded by Vincent Meyer at 905 S. Low St, Bloomington Illinois, and lists the old style phone number 2434-9. Disc is in EX condition, no scratches, just a few minor scuffs... rare condition for acetates like this. Labels show a little staining where they were glued on, but are easy to read and in great shape otherwise. Bid with confidence on this rare piece of State Farm Insurance/Bloomington Illinois history.
I will ship your records in sturdy cardboard packaging, in poly sleeves, with the record in a separate poly sleeve to avoid any damage. I sell and collect records for a living, so bid with confidence and know your purchase will be packaged carefully by someone who knows how to ship vinyl.
Ships worldwide for $15. I ship every Monday, and Mondays only, so if you'd like your item sooner rather than later, make payment immediately. International bidders: I cannot guarantee the safety of packages after they leave the U.S. I've had very few problems with international delivery, but occasionally packages go missing or arrive with lengthy delays. Registering international packages is very expensive,
but I will offer that option at the BUYER'S REQUEST ONLY. Otherwise, all international packages
will be sent via USPS First Class International, at the buyer's risk. As I said, the vast majority
of international items arrive with no problem, but I can't be responsible for some dishonest
and/or imcompetent international postage carriers. Buyer is responsible for their respective country's
tariff and customs fees and regulations.
