Description
This is the unique provisional design album cover with a white label pressing of Status Quo's album Hello. The album 'cover' consists of only the front provisional image with no other information or images as the rear of the sleeve is competely blank metallic silver. This was the sample shown to the band for their, and their management's, approval. The final sleeve was changed to include larger figures of the band. Their is no spine as this is merely a one-off provisional sleeve design.
The white label test pressing has a doodle by one of the band on one side of the label although I don't remember who. Although it has been played it was in a studio on state of the art equipment. There are no visible marks on the vinyl.
The Vertigo catalogue number: 6360098 released in 1973.

On a personal note, I am British and having relocated to Greece I'm forced, reluctantly, to downsize and part with my vast, treasured record collection. Virtually all are UK issues, from the sixties onwards, many first pressings, as well as numerous white label promos.
