PYE N PL 18220 Original UK mono pressing

Cover VG++ (The cover is in very good condition with just minor creasing. The back of the cover is remarkably white considering it’s a 37 year old cover. This is of course the Garrod & Lofthouse original with lamination to the front. Probably in as good a condition as you’re likely to find)

Record VG+ (The record looks shiny almost like new with hardly any scratches. It looks remarkable. There are a couple of marks that cause a few pops. Overall the sound is great with clear sound. This album is quite rare and in this condition even more so)

This is Status Quo’s debut "Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo" from 1968. Yes, I agree it has to have one of the silliest names in rock history not to mention one of the longest. Nevertheless, it is a great album showing the psychedelic side of Status Quo’s early days before they became hard rockers. If you listen to their next album "Spare Parts" it’s even more psychedelic. Anyway, if you have been looking for a good copy of this album look no further.
