Description

Here's the one you've been waiting for - a genuine 1st Australian pressing of Status Quo's 1972 'Piledriver' LP on the legendary Vertigo swirl label. For those of you unsure because of the '1973' print on the label, please bear in mind this album was released late 1972 in the UK - the Australian release first occurred a couple of months later in early '73. Please also note that 1st Oz pressings are devoid of the MX codes that appear on subsequent releases. Condition as follows: Disc - Ex. Plays beautifully with very little in the way of surface noise, just a minute amount between tracks. No skips, pops or loops. Labels - Ex. Completely unblemished both sides  so you can enjoy the beauty of the swirl. Cover - VG+. Graded to reflect the minor blemishing that usually occurs on predominantly white covers that are of this vintage. The inside of the gatefold has very vivid coloration though. No tears or handwriting. Please note all records shipped with disc external to the cover for peace of mind. Thanks for looking.
