This product is a 1977 vinyl pressing of Steely Dan's album "Aja" on the ABC Records label. The record is in Near Mint (NM) condition and comes in a 12" size. This edition captures the iconic sound of Steely Dan's 1970s style and is a must-have for any music collector or fan of classic rock. The gatefold cover has some minor wear on edges, minor ring wear, and 1 bent corner (see photos). The inner sleeve has all of the song lyrics and it is made from heavy paper and has 1 small split on the bottom edge. Record plays beautifully.
Aja (pronounced like "Asia") is the sixth studio album by Steely Dan. Released in 1977, the album peaked at number 3 on the US charts and at number 5 in the UK. It was the band's first platinum album and became their best-selling studio release, eventually selling over five million copies. The album includes the hit songs Deacon Blues, Peg and Josie. In 2010 the Library of Congress selected Aja for inclusion in the United States National Recording Registry based on its cultural, artistic or historical significance.
