Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This one is a true classic and a personal favorite. It ranks in my Top 25.
- In 2003 "aja" was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and ranked number 145 on Rolling Stone's "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time" list. This album is often cited as one of the best test recordings for audiophiles, due to its high production standards.
- This Promotional Copy is a First Pressing that has never been played.
- The gold foil Promo stamp is upper left, front cover.
- The First Pressing is indicated by the AB-1006 matrix.
- This copy has never been played.
- The glossy gatefold cover has tight seams, a stiff spine and shows slight corner storage wear.
- The lyric/credit inner sleeve is on glossy board stock.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from ABC Records in L.A. in 1977. It has been in storage for 42 years.

1st pressings have the AB-1006 matrix and came in a glossy gatefold sleeve with a glossy card lyric inner sleeve.The AB was an ABC label price-code, and approximately two weeks after the release of the album the price was raised $1.00 and subsequent pressings were AA-1006.
