Description
On offer here is a copy of Aja by Steely Dan, released in the USA in 1977 on the ABC label catalogue number AB 1006.
This is the “Santa Monica” press which is generally felt to be the very best sounding press of this fantastic album, the UK issue is not on a par with it.
This album comes in a thick glossy card gatefold sleeve, which is in Excellent condition, arguably better.
It also has the credit and lyric inner, which is also printed on this glossy card and is in Near Mint Condition.
The vinyl is also in Excellent condition with a few non sounding scuffs where the album has been received from the card inner. It sounds wonderful, it should be noted that Side Two has some lift on the turntable but my Gyrodec tracked it perfectly, hence I have downgraded it.
The matrix numbers are S AB 1006. (RE3) A1 and B1.
