1975 UK 1st pressing with the ABC Records black labels.

This copy was part of my old mans old collection. It was stored away in the mid eighties after a big house move with countless other LPs and kept safely out of harms - and wears - way since a few years ago when i dug it out (though ive cared for it just as well!). I have since given the LP a full Degritter ultrasonic clean even though it was remarkably clean given its age. I tested the LP after cleaning and it plays excellently throughout. Ive had far worse so called "near mint" Lps in my time. It plays with very little noise for a 70's pressing and less than the latest brand new 2025 cut after cleaning! Visually it is close to NM with no label marks and very clean surfaces with just a few light hairline type marks that are typical for a 50yr old record thats mainly been kept in its stock printed inner. It will undergo another wash if it sells.
The original jacket and printed inners both defy their age. I would grade it as truly excellent but many would describe a lesser conditioned one as NM. The same goes for the inner which since i dug this out has had a poly liner fitted to it for helping protect the LP.
I truly believe this copy is about as good a used one as you will find. I know its had no plays between 1985 and 2023 and its only been played twice after cleaning since 2023. A mere handful of plays at most i would surmise. Its been very well cared for and has years of service left. For someone looking to try an early Katy Lied oress and see what all the fuss was/is about with this recording and its various mastering guises this one is a great place to start. I am selling it as the lastest UHQR 45rpm is now my reference and need to help my poor wallet out abit!
