Description
Original pressing on black vinyl. Both cover, vinyl, and color sleeve are in near mint condition. Still has the original shrink wrap on it. Ok, so this may be my last listing for a bit, so I'm going to indulge myself by explaining the backstory of this record. I saw Stephen Malkmus perform at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC, back in 2003. He was supporting his 2nd album, Pig Lib (which I'm considering listing later). Dead Meadow opened, whom at the time were a bunch of nobodies, but whatever, Stephen Malkmus was badass. But before the show, I stopped by the merch booth and, lo and behold, the man himself was sitting there selling his own albums. I shook his hand (like he gave a sh*t), and I guess to be funny, Malkmus kissed the records (this one and Pig Lib) I was buying from him. I laughed, thanked him, and enjoyed the rest of my night. Well, fast forward to the present: My wife hates Stephen Malkmus. I love my wife. We could use some extra funds. 'Nuff said? Sorry, Steve! You know what, for sh*ts and giggles, if the auction goes over $50, I'll throw in a sweet photo or two I took of Stephen that night. I'll probably scan it and post it up tomorrow. It's all streaky and soft (very befitting, if i do say so myself).
I'm selling a lot of my records (most are rare or out of print), so please take a look. I start all my auctions at $0.99 to give everyone a sporting chance.
