Description

An original 1st press of AYBP on UK Stateside. Matrix A1/B1. Stampers 1-A/1-O .. so it's one of the 1st copies ever pressed. Absolutely correct label for 1st press - at the foot it mentions 'Sold In The UK..'. The vinyl is still quite chunky and comes housed in an original cover with exposed flipbacks. We also have the original generic white inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In beautiful condition and has only seen very light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with just one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Difficult to imagine stumbling upon a better copy, in fact. A truly superb rendition right into those quiet acoustic numbers. Perhaps a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. I detected one solitary tick two-thirds of the way through side 1. That's yer lot - Highly recommended!
Cover (Ex) In beautiful condition - they don't all surface looking like this. The front is shiny flat and uncreased - sweet! The rear can be found aged or worse - worn. But this example is in remarkable condition - no wear at all and not a whiff of ageing. There's no edge wear to speak of and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged. No splits.
