"Dots And Loops" is the fifth studio album by the English-French avant-pop band formed in 1990 in London. This was the band's first album to enter the Billboard 200 charts peaking at number 111. This album is a departure from their earlier sounds of "one chord" pop songs and is more electronic and has elements of easy listening and Europop. Contributors to the album included John McEntire, Sean O'Hagan of The High Llamas, and Jan St Werner of German electropop duo Mouse on Mars.
Similar to the UK first and limited edition of this album on vinyl this U.S. edition had one white disc and one green/blue marbled disc housed in green and white inner sleeves and presented in a single jacket outer sleeve. THERE IS NO BAR CODE ON THE ALBUM COVER. Another edition exists with two different colored inner sleeves. These issues were very limited and have become very rare.
