The Stereos – ‘Don’t Let It Happen To You’ / ‘The Best Thing To Be Is A Person’ – Val 2 (US)  

Sublime two-sider out of Pittsburgh. With this 1965 release on Augie Bernardi’s Val label, The Stereos, who’d been singing and recording together in various incarnations since 1957, introduced new lead singer Ronnie Parks whose performance here is really wonderful. Top copy, virtually unplayed; you will most likely never see a finer specimen of this rare disc.

Condition: Excellent (please listen to the clips). Clean labels with only faint traces of wear (please see scans).
