Steve Crosno – RARE CHICANO-SOUL-FUNK LP – Steve Crosno Day, 7/9/1967, Recorded Live at the E.P. County Colisem.
In 35 years, this is only the 3rd time I’ve encountered this regional rarity. Two copies were totally trashed, the best remaining copy was kept by myself and used as the master for the 2005 CD-Reissue. Both LPs here can be objectively described as Fair to Fairly-Good and acceptable. Both LPs have scattered, obvious mild surface markings from typical average-play. None of the markings are severe or deep and both LPs retain a good portion of their original glossy-shine. While the LP was graded only visually, it is my experience that the LP will produce playback audio equivalent to the standards of the time. The LP is good enough to offer-up here on EBAY based on its rarity and obscurity. The 2-LP gatefold jacket is worn & frail. Both bottom seams are totally split. One top seam is partially split. The spine is worn with flaking-wear but is intact. Again, this RARE LP is offered here for a true hard-core collector of Chicano-Soul-Funk. Opportunities to purchase this item are almost always hopeless or impossible.
