Description

   For sale is Steve Miller Band's Brave New World, originally released in 1969 by Capitol Records in a gate-fold presentation. This is the first edition of this record and has a black label and the rainbow color band along the outside, along with the Capitol Records logo at the top. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. I always put my records directly into a protective inner sleeve, thus preserving the vinyl and any inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come originally with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as VG with ring wear, corner blunting and a 3" seam split on the top right hand corner. The spine is Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent because of some faint sleeve marks, and play graded as Near Mint. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life yet. This is still  the best copy of this very rare record that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find a first pressing in this condition. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have a lot more Rock and Roll albums, as well as records of all genres, in my Ebay Store. Please take a look. They're almost all Near Mint. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
