Description
This is indeed a rare find: THE STEVE MILLER BAND (SAILOR), THE BAND (MUSIC FROM BIG PINK), and QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE in ONE BOX SET from Capitol Records # STCR-288. These three albums are on the green label with the purple C. Each album cover is held together like a book and contain an alternate front cover in the style of the box illustration itself while the back covers have a psycadellic-like photo of each of the bands. The box is printed in a way in which, when sitting on a shelf, the front cover faces left and the back cover faces right. This box set was bought new sometime around 1969-1970 and has been sitting on a shelf for most of that time. It is in near mint condition. However, the box cover and the inside book which were pure white when new have yellowed slightly with age. This truely is a rarity.
