Steve Tilston –Songs From The Dress Rehearsal 1977 UK Cornucopia First CR1, Folk
Steve Tilston is English folk singer-songwriter, guitarist, mandolinist and arpeggione player. Cornucopia Records was his own short-lived label.
The printed and laminated card sleeve is graded as NM-. There is an extremely small amount of rub wear on the top and bottom which can only really be seen on very close examination. The spine is not pinched and is clearly readable. The entry edge has very, very little wear. The original paper inner is clean and undamaged apart from some age related discolouration. Graded as EX+
The vinyl without doubt grades as EX+. Others might even grade as NM. It has clearly not been played to any great extent and the labels are reasonably clean but there are two small brown spots on the Side 1 label (see pictures). On play grading today there was some very minimal static on the run in on both sides but nothing really substantial, maybe the odd pop or click during the remainder of the album including between the tracks - Certainly nothing which would spoil the enjoyment of the record when listening at high volume. It plays superbly with very strong audio. The surface is very clean, glossy and shiny, a great first press copy of this rare folk private pressing.
