Description
This is one of only a handful of test pressings of Metanoia that were circulated to the label and Steven Wilson for approval before its release. Metanoia itself is rare on vinyl so this test pressing is almost impossible to find.
This is a perfect mint copy with hand written labels enclosed in a custom made sleeve with past on artwork.
This 10" is from Richard Allen's personal collection.
Richard ran Delerium and signed Porcupine Tree in the early 1990s managing them up until 2003.
METANOIA
Metanoia is an album of outtakes from Signify first issued in December 1998 in a limited run of 1000 copies on double 10" vinyl. The album has been described as "in every way the antithesis of “Stupid Dream”, and simultaneously every bit as brilliant". A special recognition is given to Chris Maitland and Colin Edwin who show " a masterful display of finesse and energy". The inner and outer cover shows paintings made by Frans Janssen. All tracks were composed by Porcupine Tree as a band.
