This lp has been played once since it was cut in 1984, I picked it up at a store in Tempe, AZ that often sold live recordings. The owner always claimed they were pressed at a plant right in Tempe and that those he had were the first issued, that he brought them to the store to "test" them out, then completed the pressing when they reached his standard of quality. I was sold this one without the jacket originally but was given the jacket two weeks later when the final copies were released. (That store is long gone but it was one cool record store that specialized in live and import vinyl, and cool clothes that came from the UK.) This LP was taken from a KBFH show that was a double lp w/the Jon Butcher Axis. Only the SRV show is included. I recorded it on cassette tape and that is the only way I listened to it after playing it that one time. Great quality as one would expect from the source. Great SRV document and rare as well.
I will also be selling one or two more of my signed SRV lps (they're authenticated) in the very near future. One is he CSTW picture disc (before sober signature) and the other is actually signed TWICE. Once on the cover, and again with a dedication on the inside of the gatefold cover. Inquire if interested. They will be listed at $3,000 and $5,500 given their rarity and guaranteed authenticity. Of course you will get the signed Roger Epperson certificate with the completion of the purchase.
