Description
You are bidding on the rare 78rpm record:
"Stick" McGhee and His Buddy- Drinkin' Wine Spo-Dee-O-Dee / Bob Camp and His Buddies- Blues Mixture, released by Harlem Records (1018A/B) (16B/C3) in 1947.
*Here you have the very very rare original release of the Stick McGhee classic "Drinkin' Wine Spo-Dee-O-Dee"! This rare Harlem record was released in 1947. McGhee re-recorded this classic tune for Atlantic in 1949, and it became a hit. The tune was later picked up by Jerry Lee Lewis and others, and quickly became a sensation in the early days of rock & roll.*
The Record is visually-graded, conservatively, in V+ (VG+) condition. When looked at under a very bright light, the record shows a rich luster and some very minor wear.
The Labels show some minor wear but look very nice overall (please see photos).
