Description
This is Stiff Little Fingers debut vinyl album "Inflammable Material" - a classic punk rock record released in 1979 on the Rough Trade label. This UK pressing is a must-have for any music collector, featuring tracks written by Jake Burns and the band at the height of the 'Troubles' in Northern Island. The lyrics reflect the unstable situation, violence and the sense of despair at the time.
It plays very well on my equipment with no scratches or jumps. There are some minor marks on the vinyl, and a few 'crackles and pops' can sometimes be heard.
The sleeve is in very good condition and has been stored in a plastic outer sleeve for many years, so even the corners are almost - but not quite - perfect. Owned since new. Note that it has the original Virgin records price sticker in the top right hand corner.
The inner sleeve is in very good condition and contains the lyrics. On the 'B' side, the top left and right corners are very slightly lifting.
A look at the DISCOGS resource site suggests that this is a 1979 pressing by Immediate Sound Services Ltd.
