Description

Stiff Records Box Set #1, number 0843, containing the first 10 singles released on the Stiff Records label. This box set is #0843 of a limited run of 5000 box sets.

Box contains singles by (in order of catalog #): Nick Lowe, The Pink Fairies, The Roogalator, Tyla Gang, Lew Lewis and His Band, The Damned, Richard Hell, Plummet Airlines, Motorhead, and another single by The Damned.

Each single and sleeve are in mint condition. This item is from my personal collection and none of the records have ever been played. I bought this set in 1978 at time of release from a record store in Downey, CA. The box has rarely been opened and has been kept indoors at all times and is essentially the way it looked when I bought it, except for the original shrink wrap.

IMPORTANT NOTE: On the A side of the Richard Hell single, there is a small factory defect in the vinyl about 1/4" long (looks like a piece of dust got into the press) and it looks like it would affect playing the record. I visually inspected all the records prior to listing and this is the only defect I found. The records have not been cleaned or wiped in any way.

The box itself is near-mint, with minor wear to the corners and a small nick on the bottom of the top cover. The box has no repairs or taped seams.

I have no feedback as I am new to ebay, but please note: I am selling only from my personal collection over the past 50 years. I am not a record store or a dealer, I'm just a guy who ended up with a lot of records and it's time to let others enjoy them.
