Description
This month (September) all the auctions will be for punk memorabilia: posters, T Shirts, fanzines & badges.
There are also a few BUY IT NOW items of indie promo posters and other promo only indie items from the 1980s/1990s.
Next month (October) I'll be listing around 100 original indie promo posters, flyers & postcards from the '80s & '90s, all different to the ones listed in August.
In November I expect to be listing loads of original UK 1977 punk singles.
THIS is an original, official poster measuring approximately 29" x 19" (72x48cm) that was printed for Stiff Records in 1976 to promote the label and the first eight bands it released records for (BUY 1-8) including The Damned & Richard Hell. Also including Lew Lewis, Nick Lowe, Pink Fairies, Tyla Gang and others, it is a historic document of a soon to be famous label at a time just weeks before punk broke into the national consciousness.
I've never seen another one of these; I suspect it's impossibly rare and probably the second UK punk promo poster after the label's New Rose one.
I've been selling original '80s and '90s indie promo posters on eBay for two years, with 100% feedback and a 5 out of 5 rating for 'item as described'. I'm now digging deeper into my collection.

CONDITION:
I'm not going to go into lots of detail on this one, just have a look at the photo. There are several small tears on the edges and countless creases. It's also yellowed a bit from being on my bedroom wall for a few years as a teenager, and has dried blu-tack on its back corners.
On the plus side the largest tear is 9cm (top edge), there are no missing parts, and all the tears are on the border. The central feature of the graveyard is intact, if creased.
PLEASE carefully examine the photograph using the zoom function. The photo forms part of the item description, particularly with regard to its condition.
PROVENANCE:
I was given this in the Stiff shop in Alexander Street, London, in early 1977.
I am the first and only owner of this item.
All the items I list will be on a similar coloured background so that you know they are my own photos.
PACKAGING: Your poster will be lightly rolled then wrapped in a sheet of brown paper with twists at both ends for easy and safe removal from the professionally made-for-purpose mailing tube.
POSTAGE:
The postage & packing charge for this item is the same or less than what it costs for stamps, packaging, and the 13.5% cut taken by eBay & Paypal on the p&p charge (yes, they really do that!).

3) Each individual item listed carries a p&p charge appropriate to its size and value. Only the highest of these charges will apply to your order. All other qualifying items will be FREE POSTAGE & PACKING.
