Genuinely a rarity and its not often you can say that. Mono is by far the most desired format for this release (and with good reason!). But by Xmas 1969 mono (as a format) was practically defunct and made in tiny quantity...hence why a boxed mono is exceptionally hard to source. An original Xmas 1969 Boxed Decca in super order. Note the inverted tape number...this is the 1st box design issued prior to Xmas market. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover. WITH ACCOMPANYING INNER.
Vinyl (Ex) Very well preserved and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of slight marks per side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just minor deviation in one spot. Nice quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A great player throughout. A touch of light presence in a couple of the quietest moments.. Otherwise superb. Barely worth nentionibg..the audio will take you straiht to nirvana.
Cover (Ex) In great condition with a lovely shiny and flat front and rear. Minimal edge wear and firm openings. Spine is 80%. With loss of thecword 'rolling'. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged. But otherwise aok.
