Fantastic album, purchased in 1977, in NEAR MINT CONDITION. Cover is very close to MINT with only very slight wear and tear. Vinyl is also near MINT with a few light marks but nothing serious. This is a French import with butterfly label and gatefold sleeve. Funhouse is a truly seminal and ground breaking album which combine elements of Motown, primal raw animal blues, free jazz, and Jimi Hendrix acid rock riffs, the Rolling Stones garage punk attitude and James Brown grooves. It has a truly sleazy, dirty and SEXY sound never equalled by anyone since. Without this no PUNK. It was also considered to be one of the first Heavy Metal albums, the guitar playing of Ron Asheton being simply stunning.
