For sale is an extremely rare white label test Pressing of the stranglers strange little girl
What makes it even rarer is that this is the two sided test Pressing with cruel garden as the b side. Very few of these two sided test pressings have ever surfaced.
Matrix numbers
Side a BP 412 A-2U - 1 - (3? Not sure) - 1
Side b BP 412 B-2U-1-1-2
The vinyl when checked under strong light has a few light surface marks. All is superficial and the vinyl looks clean and retains its glossy finish.
Side 1 does play with some light background noise throughout the majority of the song. This does not affect the quality of the song and there are no skips or jumps. As the record continues the noise does become quieter however even so plays very well.
Side b plays very well with a very small amount of surface noise being heard at the beginning.
I do think a professional clean would improve the sound even more but I do not have a cleaning machine so unable to do anymore, although what I had managed to clean has vastly improved the sound quality.
The labels have some light discolouration
