Strauss Also Sprach Zarathustra Karajan UK Decca SXL 2154 fatband 1st ED
In this famous recording – a sonic spectacular - the Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Herbert von Karajan perform Richard Strauss’s “Also Sprach Zarathustra”. An English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXL 2154), the labels are black “Original recording by … at 10 o’clock, a full frequency stereophonic sound “fatband” and ffss logo with a groove. The record is of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover has rubbed a little with a ring.
