ABSOLUTELY STUNNING LP!!
TELARC DIGITAL STEREO DG-10039
STRAVINSKY :"THE FIREBIRD"
(SUITE 1919 VERSION)
BORODIN: Music From "Prince Igor"
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus
Directed By: ROBERT SHAW
Up for auction today is this almost perfect vinyl/jacket. This is truly an audiophiles dream LP. It was pressed in Germany in 1979 on the highest quality vinyl available. This LP was mastered at 1/2 speed with a Neuman VMS-70/SAL-74 cutting system from the Sound Stream digital recording equipment. The vinyl grades MINT!! Absolutely no flaws at all. No scuffs nothing. The label and spindle hole are perfect. It appears to never have been played!! It has absolutely no warping. The jacket grades NM. The only flaw it has is some very minor sticker residue on the left front near the top. This is a gatefold jacket. The LP sleeve is a plastic lined paper sleeve. Unless you bought this LP new in 1979 and archived it without opening it, you will probably never see another LP like this. Even factory new LP's have some scuffs or microscopic marks from insertion into the sleeve at the factory. This LP has NONE!! I have used the MINT term less than 10 times in my life when grading LP's so it gives you an idea how rare these really are. Just to let everyone know. I will not be taking any requests to play test this LP! If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
I just want everyone to know that I use the Goldmine record grading system to grade my records for sale here. I try very hard to be conservative in my grading. I usually will list all the defects as well as the strengths of each of the records I list.
You can rest assured that if you purchase an LP from me it will be handled and shipped with the utmost care. I personally visually grade all my records offered on Ebay. I will also at times play test records and this will be noted in the auctions description.
I ship all my records out of the jacket to prevent splits in the jacket or the liner sleeve. The record is put in a plastic sleeve and is protected by layers of cardboard on each side of the LP. Then the cardboard is taped together and wrapped in bubble wrap. The LP jacket and sleeve are wrapped in a plastic liner and bubble wrapped as well. I will use cardboard spacers as fill in the situations that require it.
What this all adds up to is that you as the consumer will receive your LP in the same condition as when it left my hands. There is nothing more frustrating and disappointing than going to all the trouble of bidding on your item and then having it arrive destroyed!! I stand behind my products 100%!!
TO MY VALUED CUSTOMERS: I have had to start charging a $2.00 handling charge for my LP's and records for sale on Ebay. The reason for this is that the costs for the proper shipping boxes, cardboard filler, plastic sleeves etc. has risen to the point where it is no longer possible for me to properly package your LP purchase without a handling charge. I will not sacrifice the security of your shipped LP's. Some other sellers have decided to cut corners in this area, but I will not!! I hope that you will understand and continue to enjoy your LP purchasing experience with me here on Ebay.
FOR ALL MY INTERNATIONAL BUYERS! I just wanted to let my International buyers know that I do charge a $5.00 dollar handling charge to cover Insurance up to $100.00 and to process the required Customs documents.
