Best copy I've ever had of this increasingly hard to find UK first pressing 1969 double album on the collectable Marmalade label (608005 Stereo) featuring the cool jazzy soul vocals of Julie Driscoll, the driving keyboard/organ of Brian Auger, the inventive bass and acoustic guitar of David Ambrose and the crisp drumming of Clive Thacker.
Vinyl retains its glossy sheen and looks barely played. A little static/surface noise on Side 3 but otherwise a solid Excellent. Labels are all clean and unworn.
Gatefold sleeve featuring Ralph Steadman's marvellous Hogarth-like artwork is in great shape with just some minor corner wear and a couple of indentations at the top of the front cover. Spine is very readable and the centrefold is pristine.
Two new poly-lined inners are provided, and the original inners are also included. They are in VG++ shape too, just a bit browned due to age.
All in all, you'd struggle to find a better copy.
Book price for this is substantial but I've started it at a realistically low price - so get bidding and you could pick up a bargain.
