Description
Streetnoise Part One / Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger And The Trinity Vinyl LP. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
This is the first part of the Trinity’s iconic 1969 double LP “Streetnoise”.
It is described as Volume 1 on the reissued sleeve and Pt. 1 on the label.
Despite the new sleeve and slightly new title, this is exactly the same as the first pressing in the double LP as it uses exactly the same stamper when it was issued separately later in 1969.
This copy is in great condition and plays really well on most of the tracks without jumps, skips, sticks, scratches, clicks or pops - with the one exception (as usual) of “Light My Fire” where there is a recurring click at the start of the track for about twenty seconds.
Apart from that, the music shines throughout, as dynamic and as exciting as it was in these grooves 51 years ago. I am only selling it because I have another copy as well as the original double LP - even then it was difficult to decide which to sell as the other copy has a recurring click at the END of Light My Fire.
To sum up, this is a rare example of a near-perfect copy of this stunning record with the shortest of imperfection at the start of Track 2, Side Two. You will not be disappointed.
The sleeve is a bit “tired”as it was always rather thin and flimsy. Still, the contents and credits are perfectly legible as you can see in the supplied photo.
