FUN COLLECTION OF DIVERSE STRONG WOMEN SINGING PERSONALITIES FROM 1950's -'60's - '70's (see photos for complete playlists) :
1) EDITH PIAF: La Vie En Rose (1956) (Columbia- CL-898) The great Parisian singer, Edith Piaf, sings 10 songs in English. CONDITION: Vinyl =Very Good +. Cover = Very Good. some small breakage spots of upper and lower seams.
2) CARMEN MIRANDA: The Brazilian Bombshell (1985) (Ace of Hearts - AH-99) UK Issue Carmen sings 12 of her most well known songs in her flamboyant style. CONDITION: Vinyl = Very Good +.(writing on label) Cover = Very Good - (taped at bottom seam).
3) ETHEL MERMAN: Merman In Vegas (1961) (Reprise -R-6062) (Includes original printed paper inner-sleeve) Recorded live at the Flamingo Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. CONDITION: Vinyl = Very Good +. Cover = Very Good (split bottom seam).
4) GRACE JONES: Portfolio (1976) (Island Records - ILPS-9470)-Gatefold Cover Grace Jones sings classic songs including her own unique version of Piaf's "La Vie En Rose". CONDITION: Vinyl = Very Good. Cover = Very Good +.
5) CHARO & THE SALSOUL ORCHESTRA: Cuchi-Cuchi (1977) (SalSoul - SZS--5519) Charo sings disco with a latin beat. CONDITION: Vinyl & Cover = Excellent.
6) KAY THOMPSON: Self-Titled (1954) (MGM -E3146) Kay Thompson, the co-creator of Eloise, sings songs of her own invention as well as established classics. Orchestra conducted by Joe Lipman. CONDITION: Vinyl = Very Good -. Some skips . Cover = Very Good.
7) JOSEPHINE BAKER: Chansons Américaines (1951) (Columbia - ML-2609 - 10" LP) American born, Josephine Baker, but long-time Paris favorite, sings American classics in French. The LP features 8 cuts of Miss Baker accompanied by Hal-Berg and his orchestra. CONDITION: Vinyl = Very Good +. Cover= Very Good (Upper & Lower seams are partially taped but front cover color is bright and clean=Excellent).

LP's come boxed carefully in corrugated boxes made specifically for LP's, with filler pads and bubble wrap on both sides to protect the cover. LP's are housed in clear plastic LP sleeves. The LP is removed from the cover for shipping to prevent seam splitting unless when purchasing a sealed LP or when specified otherwise. Tracking numbers will be provided on all purchases.
