Structures Sonores Lasry Baschet No.4 French 196? 10” LP Disques Bam Records Catalogue Number LD 098, In 1952 brothers Bernard and Francois Baschet began a study of musical instruments, by 1954 they had begun to build their own unique musical sculptures. Francois Baschet was born in Paris in 1920. He was trained by sculptors Emmanuel Auricoste and Hubert Yencesse. His brother, Bernard, was born in Paris in 1917. He studied engineering at the Ecole Centrale and served as the chief of musical research for the French Broadcasting System.
