JACKIE MITTOO Put It On (Very Rare 1968 UK 7" vinyl single - Thundering vibrations! The magical digits of Mr Mittoo work the soul with this cracking hard-to-find rendition of the Wailing Wailers' Ska vocal. Sir Coxsone's Soul Vendors provide the backing for this tough Rocksteady rumbler with the equally superb Chinese Chicken on the B-side.
I have just looked at the tune again and seen that The vinyl has medium not light surface scuffs & marks to show for its age as i said it plays perfectly both sides
i am completely honest when i describe this tune i don't use the record collector grades for this type of 45 as its made to be played , danced to, and loved which i am sure it has .
(I personally will only buy extremely good sounding and looking vinyl even if its the rarest in the world only copy if its not to my standard i wont bother i love my music too much so trust me.)
If it was scratched badly i wouldn't have bought it years ago
However this does not affect the quality of the music and it's rarity
Another rare feature is the intact 4-prong centre on the stunning label which still retains its original 'Daz' white and undamaged red the only blemish is a small 58 written in pen on the A-side of an otherwise perfect label
This is as rare as rocking horse's, hen's and any other animal based sayings combined and a real treat to find it in this condition! SO-2043).
