Description
Released on Studio One in 1967, cat # S0-2003; this is “All Rudies in Jail†by Zoot Simms (credited as Mr Foundation) c/w “Easy Squeeze†by Alton and Hortense Ellis.
And so, here we have another batch of stunning singles from the late 60’s that have sat in a box for nearly forty years waiting to be played! This is our nineteenth week of listing this reggae collection and it is just getting better and better! Remember, most of these are MINT, some are UNPLAYED and none of them have been played more than once or twice by the original owner. You are not going to find better!
Both labels have “sample†stamped on them in purple ink. You can see on the original white sleeve where the stamp was applied when the record was in the sleeve as there is a bit of overlap – you want original – we got it! The labels are otherwise unmarked with NO spindle marks. There is a very light surface mark across the B-side that makes no difference to the playing quality of the record. The A-side is unmarked. Playing, there was a tiny amount of surface noise on first play, but less on second. Both tracks are cracking and the record is graded as at least excellent.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1.10 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.30 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
