Here is an OUTSTANDING vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: An ORIGINAL1967 MONO Lp. "The Grateful Dead" their debut album, led by Jerry Garcia. Released by Warner Brothers records W-1689 Monophonic, this is an original first pressing. Most folks had gone to stereo by 1967 and production numbers on mono discs was VERY LOW!! Here is one that has the rarely heard mono mix! Cover is still in shrink wrap, still has original WB inner sleeve. Outstanding!
The cover rates near Mint, the shrink is clean and tight around the cover!, has bright colors, no ring wear, no splits, no tape, binder edge EX & readable, NO cut-outs or drill holes,NO signatures or writing! a bit of faint yellowing to very tip of upper corner (see photo) , looks minimally handled, a well cared holy grail jacket!! The vinyl rates EX- or VG+/EX, is super clean and glossy, a few faint sleeve marks on each side,nothing heavy, looks rarely played, has been very well cared for! The absolute best part is that this record is it's playability! This record has been PLAY TESTED, this album plays fantastic from start to finish with excellent sound quality! Nothing but silence when you set the needle down! The Monophonic GOLD labels are stunning. Original WB paper inner sleeve is clean, no splits.
