Description

Pieces of Eight is the eighth studio album by Styx, released on September 1, 1978.
Like the band's previous album, The Grand Illusion, it managed to achieve triple platinum certification, thanks to the hit singles "Blue Collar Man" and "Renegade".
The band members produced and recorded the album at Paragon Studios in Chicago with recording engineer Barry Mraz and mixing engineer Rob Kingsland. "I'm O.K." was recorded at Paragon and St. James Cathedral. This would be the last album to be produced at Paragon Studios.

Please note we are not a professional grader, this is our subjective opinion. The grade chart below is a guide. We will only sell what we consider to be very good and excellent condition.
VERY GOOD : Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during the song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches that will affect the sound. Labels may show tape, writing, or have tape or their residue. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. All covers will come in a plastic instead of shrink wrap.
Excellent Condition: Shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turn-up corners, or have been replaced.  An LP jacket my have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.
