Description

Substance 1987. New Order. Rare Vinyl LP - Original Edition.


A potential holy grail for some New Order collectors and also an all-round amazing record.


Here is an original edition, bought from the mighty Acorn Records in Yeovil in 1988.


Please note this is NOT the embossed cover. That would be way more expensive and don’t want anyone to bid/ buy thinking till it was the embossed cover - but this version is still 200% amazing…


Full and I mean full bass and such a wide soundstage with a real clarity on the midrange. What I’m saying is that it sounds amazing.


Both of the two records condition is VG+, especially for a record that is 35 years old (can it really be that long). Minor crackles on run-ins and bandings but really minor considering the age.


I wasn’t sure how to grade the sleeve as it’s a white sleeve… so some ring wear and some yellowing on the edges but if I go full-on absolute Record Collector rating, I’d arm-wrestle you for VG or VG+ (please see pictures)


The album has been in a non-PVC outer sleeve for about 25 years and the records have been in non-static archival inner sleeves for about 12 years.
