Sufjan Stevens Silver and Gold Vol 6 [Vinyl Test Pressing - TPFC].
Up for Sale: Test Pressings (originally sold only from a single limited auction by 'Test Pressings for Charity') of Sufjan Stevens album 'Silver and Gold': Volumes 6 & 10. These two volumes are the first and last volumes of the album - tracklist found below. Test pressings are vinyl pressings made before final manufacture to perform quality checks. Test pressing sound may differ from the actual retail release, or be practically...homophonous. These are obviously a rare and niche collector item. The cardboard slipcover was made by Test Pressing for Charity, and shows the respective volume. The pictures are of the actual vinyl records you will receive. They were played a few times upon release to listen for sound variation, then stored in a smoke-free home in their paper/cardboard/plastic sleeve ensemble. In my opinion, these two volumes contained the best songs of the album. Grab these now for a special Christmas in July!
