Sugar & The Spices   Teardrops / Have Faith In Me Swan 4208 DEMO produced and written by Ugene Dozier    Just in time for summer, this one is the perfect warm summer night single. Early Northern sound with a dynamite sultry but soft female lead, female backup vocals and a feel of pure magic. It is a rare record!   And ya know why?  Cause every one that ever turns up gets snapped into a collection FAST!     So here's your chance.... you CAN get this one... if you hurry!   The flip is everything you want in a sexy sounding female lead, with a subtle percussion keeping the pace to a chorus that starts out in the intro with a  "dat-da dat, da-dat-dat da dat"...leading into a smooth sounding mid tempo dancer... this one IS a two sider for sure.  The flip side has just a wee bit more speed than the incredible slow sexy A side, and it stands alone as another awesome record. A little crackle that amazingly is not bad considering the soft vocals on this record. It played very enjoyably to me. I played it several times today. Visually, the disc is G+ to VG-, with a lot of scuffs. But it does play much much better than the visual appearance.  The labels of this white demo have some wear, and a name is written in magic marker on the flip side.  So, it's not a perfect copy, but it is a very enjoyable piece to own.  Please check my feedback, as I DO make every effort to be as honest about every record I sell as I possibly can.   If I don't like how it sounds, I wouldnt sell it.   This is a lesser grade copy, but it IS a nice copy for playing.   Please make sure to check the other listings I'll be making over the next couple of days.
