Description
When Sun Kil Moon released its long-awaited follow-up to Ghosts of the Great Highway on Mark Kozelek's own Caldo Verde Records in 2008, it was with much well-deserved fanfare. Kozelek is considered by many (including myself) to be one of America's greatest songwriters, and it had been a grueling 5 years since he had released any original material. April did not disappoint, to say the very least. It was a genuine masterpiece.
The vinyl version of April was released in several formats: black vinyl (released on Caldo Verde's website), black-and-white marble vinyl (400 copies released only on Aural Exploits), and white vinyl (300 copies released on Caldo Verde's website and 100 copies sold on Sun Kil Moon's 2008 tour).
Thus, the 2xLP white vinyl copy of April for sale here is one of only 400 of its kind in existence. In addition, it is factory-sealed and in virtually mint condition... although for the record, 3 of 4 corners have very minor (1/8 inch) corner dents. Other than that, it is pristine.
Get this rare collector's item (not to mention a mesmerizing album by a true musical genius) while you can!
