Saturn Records 532, recorded 1961, released 1972. First release of this music. Black printing on pink label. Disc is in excellent condition, played perhaps 3 times. Silk-screened black-and-white cover is excellent, though it has been handled. Physically perfect. Previous owner wrote recording date, three asterisks, and his acquisition date on the back cover. This is one of over 200 LPs being consigned on auction weekly between now and Spring 2007 from the well-kept and thorough collection of the late sculptor Bradford Graves, a key participant in the operations of New York performance space Soundscape. The collection ranges from Art Blakey to Han Bennink, with especially strong showings of Saturn, FMP, ICP, and US private pressings from the early Seventies. Some prizes and surprises in every batch.
