There’s a boat load of (mainly) blues artists and this record is a blast to listen to , look at and read. “Life is Splendid” by Sun Ra & His Solar-Myth Arkestra is easily worth the price of admission on this one, in my opinion. Still plenty of juice, however, with Dr. John, Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, and plenty more names - this 2xLP is packing some heat and is an absolute artifact if you’re tied to Ann Arbor and also like this music. Big time in the cities progressive history.
