Side A: Discipline 99 How Am I To Know Sunnyside Up Solar Ship
Side B: Out Beyond The Kingdom Of Cosmos Synthesis Outer Space Employment Agency Journey To Saturn
The cover has "Stars That Shine Darkly Pt 1" written on it but the matrix numbers are 61674A / B, so this is Out Beyond The Kingdom Of.
The LP has lots of scratches and a couple of white marks. I have tried to show these in the photos. It plays with constant noise, and has clicks and pops. On my turntable has never played all the way through. The cover is generic and as above has handwritten "Stars That Shine Darkly Pt 1" on the front.
I think Out Beyond The Kingdom Of, is an excellent Saturn release as it has everything you could want from a Sun Ra LP. There are some great solos from Sun Ra and John Gilmore, two standards, a full band freak out and cosmic dramas / space chanting. This is a rare record but please take note of the condition remarks before bidding.
