Up for bid is an extremely rare mono LP, "Other Planes of There," by Sun Ra and His Solar Arkestra. See pictures for song list. This is an original press, released by Saturn Records (9956-11) in 1966. LP is VG+, with light scuffs and several small light scratches on either side. LP plays with some surface noise (some intermittent crackle, tics, and pops) with no skips.  LP retains a nice gloss. Interior labels are very clean. Etched matrix info reads KH-98766-A  -BP- / KH-98766-B  -BP-. This LP still sounds great - this is a really nice copy of this original LP! Jacket is VG+, no seam splits. There are a couple of small areas on the bottom seam where the glossy top layer has chipped off, but these are surface layer abrasions and do not penetrate through the remainder of the seam (see pictures). All seams and corners show light wear. There is ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is scuffing on the front and back of the jacket. The front and back of the jacket retain a nice gloss. Throughout the month of December I will be listing more extremely rare, hard to find titles in very nice shape - from the estate of a serious collector. An original copy of this scarce LP doesn't show up very often - don't miss out of this very hard to find gem!
