Description
Sun Ra and His Blue Universe Arkestra - Universe in Blue - ESR 200 in Galacto Fidelity! This is the mega-rare alternate cover art version originally issued by El Saturn Research in 1972. The Arkestra includes Ra on "Space Master Organ" or "The Intergalactic Space Organ" and Moog Synthesizer, John Gilmore on tenor, Marshall Allen on alto and flute, Danny Thompson on baritone and flute, Pat Patrick on baritone, and Kwami Hadi on trumpet – and some vocals by June Tyson, among others. Titles are "Black Man", "In A Blue Mood", and "Universe In Blue" (parts 1 & 2). It includes the Chicago address on both the label and the jacket.
Vinyl is VG+ with some in / out marks that include some minor pops. Jacket is VG+, spines are mostly tight - there are the beginnings of
minor breaches on the top and bottom. There is some sticker residue on the front near the top, and some minor
ring wear visible on the back. (See photos).
