Description

This auction is for an original copy of Cosmic Tones for Mental Therapy by Sun Ra and His Arkestra (Saturn Research, SR-408, 1967). This is not a reissue. Vinyl has El Saturn labels. 408-A and 408-B are etched into the dead wax of Sides A and B, respectively. Also, "KH-2772A" and "KH-2772B" are etched into the dead wax on Sides A and B, respectively.

Front and back covers have some ring wear. There is some wear on the top left edge of the cover that exposes about 1/4 inch of the underlying cardboard. Bottom cover also has wear, including a 1.5 inch split. Vinyl has some scratches, but is otherwise clean. I did a needle drop on areas that looked scratched and heard no pops or skips. Before this auction was listed, the record was cleaned with a VPI machine and placed in a new Mobile Fidelity Original Master Sleeve. 

Record ships in a well-packed cardboard mailer.
