Description

This is the second pressing of Sun Ra “The Futuristic Sounds” on the maroon and silver labels of Savoy MG 12169.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The coated cover has 3 ¼” of superficial flaking on the top seam, at the spine; the bottom seam has ¼” and 2” superficial flaking at the center and ¾” split/wear at the opening; age toning and light shelf wear on the back. Personnel include John Gilmore, Marshall Allen, Ronnie Boykins, and Pat Patrick. $150.00..
